Concerning Science, Religion, Logic, and the Evolution of Human Consciousness.

“There will be a revival of Christianity when it becomes impossible to write a popular manual of science without referring to the incarnation of the Word.”
Owen Barfield

Owen Barfield envisioned a time in which the science/religion dichotomy would be overcome--when faith and reason would no longer be at odds. He saw in the life's work of Rudolf Steiner the beginning of just such a development, one vital to the future of human understanding and the outcome of an increasingly self-directed evolution of consciousness

This web site consists of a number of essays on science and epistemology, written by Don Cruse, Robert Zimmer and Owen Barfield. They enquire into the logical necessity for a future unity of science and religion, and in this connection examine some aspects of Rudolf Steiner's thought.

Many ‘difficult truths’ will be discussed here and the essays may be read in any order. Comments and any reasonable critiques are most welcome. Please e-mail them to don@inversionmixers.com or to rlzimmer@hotmail.com
